Jennifer Lopez is one of the most prolific celebrities out there. In addition to being an actress, singer, and dancer, she’s also a producer, philanthropist, and political activist.
Plus, she’s a mom of two incredible kids, Max and Emme, and recently got engaged to former MLB star Alex Rodriguez.
In 2019, J.Lo has a lot of exciting acting and producing projects coming up. She’s starring in the movie Hustlersalongside Constance Wu — and she’s also an executive producer. The movie is set to premiere on September 13, 2019. J.Lo will also star as drug lord Griselda Blanco in a new TV movie on HBO (she’s also an executive producer for this project).
Finally, she’s working on developing a new CBS legal drama and a new NBC futuristic drama.
This summer, beginning in June 2019, J.Lo is embarking on her first concert tour in seven years. J.Lo’s concert series, which will have 30 tour dates, will celebrate her 50th birthday (which is on July 24, 2019).
To prepare for her upcoming tour, J.Lo has been rehearsing with her backup dancers and singers. As soon as she wrapped Hustlers, she got to work on preparing for her concert. Before performing her new single, “Medicine,” on the Today show, J.Lo spent two days practicing with her team.
During one vocal rehearsal, J.Lo’s 11-year-old daughter Emme joined her in the room. J.Lo encouraged her daughter to sing an Alicia Keys song — and when Emme started singing, everyone in the room was blown away.
