Gymnasts are some of the most incredible athletes out there, leaving crowds breathless with perfectly executed floor routines filled with dizzying flips, twists, and contortions.

Anyone who took even a basic gymnastics class knows how hard it is to pull this stuff off, but gymnasts like Katelyn Ohashi bring a whole new meaning to the word “gymnast.” She is sheer perfection. But if you don’t believe us, consider this: Last season, the 20-year-old UCLA sophomore scored two perfect 10s with her balance beam routines. Could she carry on the tradition this season, though?

Katelyn isn’t just a phenomenal gymnast when it comes to college competitions; she’s actually a former member of the USA junior national gymnastics team, and she even beat out Simone Biles to win the 2013 American Cup!

This season, Katelyn started her sophomore year with a bang — two more perfect performances. During her routine at the 2018 Pac 12 Championships in late February, her team had their fingers crossed for another show-stopping performance.

She did not disappoint.

We’re all impressed whenever we see someone who can do a passable impression of Michael Jackson, whether it involves singing or dancing. But a floor routine done to a montage of the King of Pop’s greatest hits that incorporates some of his signature moves? Absolutely stunning!

Katelyn makes her routine look easy, but with a mind-bendingly quick series of backflips and twirls, topped off with mid-air splits and a mid-air somersault, we can only dream of being as elegant and acrobatic as her!

The best part about her performance, though, may just be how much fun she has with it!

Throwing in little dance moves and playing off the audience’s energy, it’s clear that her passion is gymnastics.

Katelyn ended up getting yet another perfect score during the routine and it not only helped beat Oregon State at the competition but it also brought UCLA to a season high of 198!
