When Britain’s Got Talent winner, the Hungarian group, Attraction, came out on stage at America’s Got Talent The Champions stage, the AGT judges were excited to watch them perform. They knew they were in for a treat and they couldn’t wait for Attraction’s performance to start. During The Champions audition, they performed a shadow dance tribute to the US.
America’s Got Talent The Champions launched In January this year and features the champions and favorites from previous Got Talent shows. The Champions feature 50 contestants from the Got Talent shows in the US, UK, Australia, Belgium, South Africa, Germany, Czech-Slovakia, France, Denmark, Spain, Holland, Italy, Russia, and Ukraine.
Every week for five weeks, 10 champions perform. And at the end, two contestants will move on the finals, one voted by the superfans and one voted by the judges and host with a golden buzzer. During the finals, 10 contestants will perform to compete for the American’s Got Talent The Champion Winner title.
Attraction was founded in 2004 by Zoltán Szucs, who continue to lead the shadow group. There are actually 12 members in the group but only eight (8) members performed in Britain’s Got Talent (BGT). BGT was not the first Got Talent show that Attraction joined. They joined Das Got Talent in Germany in 2012 and placed 7th in the competition. The next year, in 2013, they tried out for Britain’s Got Talent and passed the auditions with BGT judge Amanda Holden, fighting back tears. They made it to the finals of BGT 2013 with a tribute performance to Britain, where they received a standing ovation and tears from Holden again. They eventually won Britain’s Got Talent 2013 and is the first foreign act to win the competition and the third group act.
After BGT, they continued to receive invitations to perform all over the world. They performed in Denmark, the United Kingdom, at the Mirage in Las Vegas, NV, and various locations in China. They also performed in an ad for UK insurance broker Swinton Insurance.
In 2019, Attraction was invited to perform at the America’s Got Talent The Champions in the same episode with Jackie Evancho (US), Colin Cloud (US), Shin Lim (US), Tokio Myers (UK), and Kseniya Suminova (Ukraine). They performed a shadow dance, which started with a father and mother waiting for their child to be born. When the son grows up, his father takes him from adventure to adventure in the US. When they finished their performance, they received a standing ovation from the judges and the audience.
